Flex is fun and simple. Instead of having to pick a new daily fantasy line-up each week, use your existing season-long team to engage in as many challenges as you want against other players, whether they are in your season-long league, in a separate league or even in a separate platform.

For example, say you like your team on Yahoo! and would like to challenge your friend’s team on Sleeper, Flex has created a way to make these new experiences happen. We handle harmonizing the lineup, scoring, rules, and settling the payouts for you, just like a daily fantasy platform.

WHY IS FLEX BETTER THAN DOING A CHALLENGE OURSELVES?

Automation - Flex handles all the hard work for you and your opponent. We provide new ways to play with your team, including best ball. Different leagues? No problem. Different scoring systems? No problem. Flex makes it fair and easy.

Plus, we handle the money so that you receive your winnings once the week is over. No more asking your opponent to pay you via a third party platform, ever. We’re a 3rd party that you can trust.

WHAT IS THE ARENA?

The Arena is the location where all public challenges live. There are 2 ways you can play in the arena:

Play with your team:

You can create a public challenge for anyone to enter
You can browse public open challenges and submit your team to participate. If selected, you’ll be in the challenge

Enter Challenges by Backing

Others can back your team and you both earn if you win!
You can back others’ teams in any public challenge

Don’t want your challenge public? Just select “private” when creating a challenge and only people with your link can enter the challenge.

IS FLEX AN APP, TOO? HOW DO I DOWNLOAD IT?

Flex is a new type of App. You can download Flex to any device you have without going to an app store. Downloading is easy but depends on your device

In Safari, click the share button (the icon that looks like a box with an up arrow)
Select “Add to Home Screen”
Tap “Add” In the top right hand corner

When Prompted click on “Install Flex” - you’re just a click away from there.
If you don't see the prompt: In Chrome, click on the button with 3 vertical dots in the upper right corner then select “Add to Home Screen”

On a Computer (Mac or PC)

In Chrome, click on the button with 3 vertical dots in the upper right corner
Select “Install Flex”.
You can access the app anytime on your computer or in the “Apps” section on chrome

The app will download directly to your phone and will look and feel just like any app you’ve ever used.

Gameplay

WHICH PLATFORMS DOES Flex SUPPORT AT LAUNCH?

Currently, Flex is able able to support rosters from Yahoo! and Sleeper accounts. If you are on Sleeper, you can challenge another user on Yahoo!, and vice versa.

HOW DO I CHALLENGE SOMEONE ON FLEX?

With Flex - we have made challenging anyone super FLEX-ible. There are 3 ways to challenge someone on flex.

Direct Challenge - This is a 1:1 Challenge with a team you have access to - like your leaguemates, you can create a challenge with anyones’ team from the leagues you're associated with.

Open Challenge - This allows the entire Flex Community to challenge you. You place your team in the Arena page and other teams will submit to play you. You then pick the team you’d like to play against and kick off the challenge.

‍1-Click Challenge - Anyone you see on flex can be challenged or rechallenged. Simply look for the 1-click challenge button (logo), with your defaults set, and you’ll launch right into a confirmation to challenge that user. See someone on the leaderboard ahead of you? Challenge them. Finish a game but want an exact rematch? Choose a 1-click challenge on the matchup page..

WILL Flex SYNC MY LINE-UP?

Yes. Flex will sync any line-up changes you make on Yahoo!, Sleeper or other supported platform. Flex will also lock your line-up according to the rules of the platform your team is on. We lock players when your fantasy platform locks. Our entries and challenge lock on Sunday 1pm EST

‍Currently we sync rosters every 5-10 minutes. We sync down to the position of the lineup you set. So your RB2 will reflect in Flex as your Running Bank in Position 2 by making changes to your lineup you can customize even further your starting lineup on Flex.

If you feel your line-up is not syncing, Flex gives you the ability to re-sync and reestablish a connection with your fantasy platform.

CAN I PICK A NEW LINE-UP ON Flex?

Flex uses your existing season-long roster and lineup. You cannot make changes to your lineup or draft a team on Flex. Flex makes so that you have no added work. Just set it and watch the magic happen.

‍Pro Tip - You also do not need a fantasy team to use Flex. You can play just by backing teams in public challenges.

BEST BALL ON Flex? CAN I PLAY OTHER CHALLENGES?

Best Ball is the Ultimate Auto Pilot mode. You will not need to play for an entire season or even create a new league. Now you can play best ball week to week with the team you already have.

In Best Ball, we automatically set the best lineup to give you the highest points possible for your team that week. This is a great format to play if you are playing a league mate and want to play a different twist to see what team is truly better.

WHEN DO CHALLENGES OPEN, LOCK, AND CLOSE?

Here is the basic challenge schedule

‍CHALLENGES GO LIVE - Thursday at 12:00 PM EST/9:00 AM PST
‍CONTEST CREATION LOCKS - Sunday 1:01pm EST/10:00 AM PST

‍CHALLENGES CLOSE AND WINNERS DETERMINED: Tuesday 4:00 PM EST/1:00 PM PST

HOW DO I CHALLENGE SOMEONE WHO DOES NOT HAVE Flex?

Your friend simply needs to sign up with Flex using their Sleeper or Yahoo! team. Go to the Flex app and share it.

Sharing is caring - Sharing a challenge on Flex earns both you and your friends FlexBits - which skips the service fee. Get your friends on Flex and earn big.

CAN I WITHDRAW FROM A CHALLENGE ON FLEX?

Yes, you will have the ability to withdraw from a challenge until our challenges lock on Sundays at 1pm EST. .

WHAT IF MY OPPONENT HAS DIFFERENT ROSTER OR SCORING RULES?

If you have different settings than your opponent, we do our best to make the game as fair as possible.

Here is a breakdown

If your starting lineup (Roster Settings) are different:

We will examine your starting lineup, find the “Common Positions” in your lineup then drop starting position slots that do not match

Examples

Team A starts three (3) WRs and Team B starts two (2) WRs - our challenge system play with only two (2) WRs
When a SuperFlex and Non SuperFlex team compete, the superflex position will be removed
An IDP only team plays against a league with IDP players and Offensive players. You’ll play an IDP only game
If a half point PPR league, goes against a PPR league - you will play our half point scoring system
If all of the teams scoring and lineups match - you’ll play that lineup and scoring system

HOW DO I START A PLAYER THAT GOT REMOVED FROM A CHALLENGE?

If one of your players is “sitting out of the challenge” due to you playing a challenge with different roster settings, in order to start that player - go to your fantasy platform and switch the player you want to bench on Flex with the player in the starting lineup on Flex.

You manage everything on your fantasy platform. Please send your feedback on this - we want to hear from you.

WHAT HAPPENS IF A GAME IS CANCELED?

We keep in sync with all the NFL schedule and data, so we will adjust accordingly if things like COVID-19, extreme injuries, weather or other things impacts scheduling.

We will send an email, if and when, our intention will be to play the full week.

CAN I PLAY AGAINST THE COMPUTER (STATISTICAL CHALLENGES)?

Not currently. You will need another real-life team to play against and both teams need to be "backed" by a real owner in order to have an active challenge.

If you cannot find anyone to play against, the challenge will go inactive and all of your funds, including our service fee, will be returned to your wallet.

CAN I CHALLENGE MULTIPLE PLAYERS IN THE SAME CHALLENGE?

Right now, our head-to-head matches are just 1-on-1, but hold tight, we are working. You can always enter a public challenge by backing a team to increase the pot and winnings from each challenge. There can be hundreds of backers in one challenge but our challenges are currently only 1 team vs 1 team.

CAN I CHALLENGE MORE THAN ONE PERSON AT A TIME?

YES. You can create as many challenges as you want with any team you want. In fact, we recommend playing extra games every week. More games = more fun.

ARE THERE PLATFORM CHALLENGES FOR LARGE POTS?

We do things a little different - we have public challenges that can be joined at any time. Those challenges open you up to much larger pot sizes as any Flex user can choose to back other teams they like. The pot gets larger when more people play, and winners split the pot evenly.

WHAT HAPPENS IN A STATISTICAL TIE?

We score to the 2nd decimal place but in this unlikely scenario, no one wins and the entry fee is refunded to each player. We will keep the service fee as the challenge was completed successfully. .

Wallet and Payments

HOW DO I SETUP MY WALLET?

Setting up your wallet takes minutes and unlocks all of Flex at your fingertips. To get started, head to your Profile > Wallet. You can also get to your wallet from the amount in the navigation.

From here, we need you to verify your location and ID. It’s critical that you allow us location access or the app will not function. This is due to laws requiring location information as some states do not allow betting. Once your ID is approved your wallet is set up.

HOW DO I DEPOSIT?

Once your wallet is set up you’ll need to make your first deposit. You can do this by connecting your bank via ACH. We believe in responsible gaming, so credit cards are not an option at this time.

You can connect your bank by entering the Routing and Account number. Once you do, your account will be connected for any future deposits.

After that, simply click on the amount you’d like to deposit and you are ready to play.

WHY DO YOU NEED MY SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER?

Just like any real money gaming site, we are bound by the regulations from each state. All states require us to verify your identity through your social security number and other pieces of data. We DO NOT SELL or even store your SSN, its a one time pass to our secure identity vendor and that is it. We will ask for the last 4 digits, and if we are able to confirm that is all we will need. If we require more information, then we will ask for your 9 digit SSN.

WHAT ARE THE MINIMUM/MAXIMUM ENTRY FEES PER CHALLENGE?

Our challenges can be made for as low as $5! Right now, the maximum amount per challenge is $1,000.

HOW FAST DO I RECEIVE MY FUNDS?

After you submit your withdrawal request, our team will review the translation and once we release the funds they will enter your bank account almost immediately. This whole process can take between 24-48 hours.

WHAT ARE FLEX BITS AND HOW DO I USE THEM

Flex Bits allow you to skip our service fee of 10%. You can get Flex Bits really easily by referring your friends and family to Flex. Every person you bring in give you 3 Flex Bit. Each bit, can save you up to $10. They can really add up!

To use your Flex Bit, Enter a challenge, you’ll be able to select Flex Bit along with your wallet. You’ll immediately see the total drop and the amount of money you saved by using the Bit. If you use a bit and the challenge goes inactive, you’ll be returned your money and the Flex Bit.
